These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Velora mobile application, website, and related services (“Platform”) operated by CYPHERPLAY AI LTD (“Velora”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using Velora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.
1. ABOUT VELORA
Velora is a local social discovery platform that enables users to:
- discover nearby experiences and local events
- create and join circles (communities)
- organize small meetups and gatherings
- share stories and social content
- explore communities and experiences happening nearby
Velora may also display event information from third-party event providers, organizers, venues, and publicly available sources.
2. Eligibility
By using Velora, you confirm that:
- you are at least 13 years old
- you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- the information you provide is accurate and complete
If you are using Velora on behalf of a business, venue, organization, or community, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.
3. User Accounts
Users may create an account using:
- email/password
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In
- other supported authentication methods
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining account confidentiality
- securing login credentials
- all activities under their account
- ensuring account information remains accurate
Velora may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts violating these Terms or Community Guidelines.
4. USER GENERATED CONTENT
Users may create, upload, publish, or share:
- events
- circles
- stories
- profile content
- images/videos
- comments and interactions
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload or publish on the Platform.
Users agree not to post content that:
- is illegal or fraudulent
- promotes violence or hate speech
- contains explicit sexual content
- promotes escort or adult services
- promotes political or religious extremism
- violates intellectual property rights
- contains harassment or abuse
- spreads misinformation
- promotes scams or deceptive activities
- contains spam or malicious software
Users must also comply with Velora Community Guidelines available within the Platform.
Velora reserves the right to:
- remove content
- restrict visibility
- suspend accounts
- permanently ban users
- report illegal activities to authorities without prior notice
if content violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.
5. EVENTS, CIRCLES & SOCIAL INTERACTIONS
Velora allows users, creators, organizers, communities, cafes, venues, and businesses to create events and circles.
Velora does not independently verify the identity, authenticity, legality, or reliability of all users, organizers, venues, participants, or event listings.
Velora does not guarantee:
- accuracy of event information
- availability of events
- organizer authenticity
- quality or safety of experiences
- participant behavior
- venue conditions
- event outcomes
Users are solely responsible for their interactions, participation, attendance, and experiences at events or gatherings discovered through the Platform.
Velora is not responsible for:
- cancellations
- venue issues
- organizer disputes
- injuries or damages
- theft or loss
- third-party ticketing issues
- user misconduct
- offline interactions between users
Users participate in events and social interactions at their own discretion and risk.
6. THIRD-PARTY EVENT SOURCES
Velora may aggregate or display event information from:
- third-party event APIs
- organizers
- venue partners
- publicly available listings
Velora does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, or authenticity of third-party listings.
Third-party events may redirect users to external websites or platforms for additional information or ticket purchases.
Velora is not responsible for transactions, services, or experiences provided by third-party platforms.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
Users agree not to:
- misuse or abuse the Platform
- scrape, copy, or harvest Platform data
- reverse engineer or interfere with the Platform
- distribute malware or harmful code
- use unauthorized bots or automation tools
- impersonate individuals or organizations
- create fake events or misleading listings
- violate laws or regulations
- interfere with Platform functionality or security
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
Velora may investigate violations and take action including suspension, restriction, legal reporting, or termination of accounts.
8. REPORTING & COMMUNITY SAFETY
Velora provides reporting and moderation tools to help maintain community safety.
Users may report:
- events
- stories
- circles
- profiles
- messages or interactions
- inappropriate behavior
Velora may review reports and take action at its sole discretion, including:
- content removal
- warning issuance
- account suspension
- permanent account bans
Velora reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Platform technology, software, branding, designs, trademarks, logos, and content owned by Velora remain the exclusive property of CYPHERPLAY AI LTD unless otherwise stated.
Users retain ownership of content they create and upload.
By posting content on Velora, users grant Velora a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- host
- display
- distribute
- reproduce
- promote
- optimize
such content within the Platform and related promotional materials for operational and marketing purposes.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Velora may use trusted third-party services including:
- Firebase
- Google Maps
- Apple Authentication
- Analytics providers
- Push notification services
- Cloud hosting providers
Use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. ACCOUNT TERMINATION & PLATFORM ACCESS
Users may delete their account anytime through app settings.
Velora may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts if users:
- violate these Terms
- violate Community Guidelines
- engage in harmful or abusive behavior
- repeatedly receive valid reports
- misuse the Platform
- create safety or legal risks
Following termination, access to the Platform may be revoked immediately.
Velora may also modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict portions of the Platform at any time without prior notice.
12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Velora is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
Velora does not guarantee that:
- the Platform will always be uninterrupted
- services will always be available
- event information will always be accurate
- all users or organizers are authentic
- the Platform will be error-free or secure
Use of the Platform is entirely at the user’s own risk.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CYPHERPLAY AI LTD and its affiliates shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential damages
- lost profits or revenue
- event disputes
- organizer misconduct
- user interactions
- data loss
- service interruptions
- damages arising from participation in events or gatherings
Users are solely responsible for their participation, interactions, and attendance at events or social activities discovered through the Platform.
14. PRIVACY
Use of Velora is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Velora may update these Terms periodically.
Updated versions will be posted within the app and/or website. Continued use of Velora after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Cyprus.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
